The North Greenville Crusaders wrapped up the Lee Invitational with 3-0 losses to Quincy University as well as Nova Southeastern University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Match one proved to be a struggle for NGU as they would post negative hitting percentages in the first and second sets, dropping set one 25-16 and set two 25-18. Things would improve in the third set as North Greenville would record a .296 hitting percentage, but NGU would still end up on the short end of the scoreboard with a 25-21 set loss. For the match, North Greenville finished with a .049 hitting percentages while trailing in kills, service aces, assists, and digs while leading in blocks 10-8. Match number two for the day would see NGU drop the opening set 25-16. Nova Southeastern would dominate set two, winning it 25-14. NGU would put up a strong fight in set three. Extra points were required, but the Trailblazers ultimately fell with a score of 26-24. NGU finished with a .099 hitting percentage and trailed in all but digs.
Nicole Santiago posted a strong day, finishing with sixteen kills, six digs and a block assist.
Samantha Ball recorded eleven kills, six block assists, and three digs.
Allison Ball provided twenty-six digs, six digs, and a service ace.
North Greenville will return to action on Wednesday, September 25th against the King Tornado in Bristol, Tennessee.
