The North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Valkyries of Converse University with a score of 3-0 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. NGU faced an early deficit in set one. The Trailblazers were able to cut the lead down to one, but a six point run by Converse secured the set for a 25-20 set win. Set two began as a competitive one, but a 10-2 run by Converse midway proved to be too much to overcome. They would hang on to take the set 25-16. The third set was a similar story as a competitive start turned one-sided with an 11-1 run by Converse. A late run by NGU was not enough to bounce back as the Valkyries were able to hang on for a 25-19 set win. North Greenville finished the night with a .134 attack percentage and trailed in kills, aces, blocks, assists, and digs.

Nicole Santiago posted nine kills and a dig. Samantha Ball finished with six kills, eleven digs, two block assists, and an assist. Elena Dyer also recorded six kills.

NGU will face the Barton Bulldogs on Friday, November 1st in Wilson, North Carolina.
