Box Score Tigerville – North Greenville’s senior day was spoiled by West Florida on Saturday as the Argonauts earned 26 – 10 win over the Crusaders.

How it Happened
- North Greenville’s defense did its best to keep the Crusaders in the game. The Argos put up the first points of the game in the first quarter when Quentin Randolph reeled in a 35 – yard strike from Sam Vaughn.
- North Greenville held the West Florida offense scoreless on the next three drives, forcing a pair of punts capped by an Aaron Watson interception to earn NGU’s offense an extra possession.
- The Crusaders drove to the West Florida 33 but an interception returned for a touchdown would put North Greenville in a 13 – 0 hole after Chauncey Haney blocked the point after attempt.
- The Argos attempted a field goal just before halftime but Haney came through big for NGU again, blocking the kick with 58 – seconds left before the halftime buzzer.
- NGU used the time productively and drove 44 – yards in seven plays as Will Lawson tacked on the first points of the day for the Crusaders with a field goal as the time expired.
- Offensively the Crusaders struggled to get anything going in the second half. The Argos kept up the pressure and finished the day with nine sacks of Will Hunter while holding North Greenville to just 257 – yards of total offense.
- North Greenville defenders continued to battle despite being on the field for 31 – minutes of the game.
- The Crusaders forced three turnovers, all interceptions while holding the Argos to 314 – yards on offense, almost 90 – yards under their season average.
- West Florida tacked on 13 – points in the third quarter, the final score coming with 2:17 left in the frame.
- North Greenville would eventually find pay dirt late in the fourth when Will Hunter found Jordan Helms from six yards out, taking advantage of an Eddie Studyvance interception at the west Florida 25.
- The touchdown came with 10:10 left on the game clock but neither team was able to score in the final ten minutes of the game.
- NGU’s final drive of the game started with just over 2 minutes left but ended with a sack as the clock expired.

- Defensively Seth Laughter had one of his best days in the red and black, accounting for nine tackles including one for a loss. Dominique Hunt was next in line with seven stops.
- North Greenville had three sacks on the day led by Eddie Studyvance who had 1.5 to go along with an interception.
- Johnny Worthy and Aaron Watson also picked off a West Florida Pass.
- Will Hunter was able to complete 23 of his 44 passing attempts despite being under pressure for much of the game. Hunter finished with 222 – yards and a touchdown.
- Dashonell Wright finished the day with 72 – yards rushing on 13 – carries to lead all NGU rushers.
- Lucas Catalfomo had 79 – yards on five receptions while Jordan Helms finished with two catches for 34 – yards and a score.

- Sam Vaughn had 230 – yards through the air for the Argonauts with three touchdowns and a pair of interceptions.
- Chris Schwarz led the rushing attack with 15 – carries for 73 – yards while Tate Lehtio led the receivers with 52 – yards on three receptions and a score.
- 11 different players split nine quarterback sacks for the Argos while Marvin Conley and Alden McClellon had six tackles each.
