Brooke McCubbin comes to North Greenville after spending the 2025-2026 school year working at the Conference Carolinas main office in Greenville, South Carolina. 

Prior to her time working college athletics McCubbin was a standout pitcher for the Clemson University softball team where she helped the Tigers to the 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) regular season title. She was twice named to the ACC Honor Roll and was named to the All-ACC Academic team three times. She twice garnered academic all-district honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) and All-America Scholar-Athlete honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

In her four years at Clemson, McCubbin was involved in numerous leadership programs, including the Tiger Leadership Academy, and POWER, a women's leadership academic as well as mentorship programs Athlete-to-Athlete and Paw Pals. She also gained administration experience working for the softball program as an Operations Assistant as well as the a Welcome Center Assistant.

On the diamond, McCubbin garnered third team All-ACC as well as all-tournament team honors in 2025. During her senior season, McCubbin earned both Wilson/NFCA and ACC Pitcher of the Week on April 29.
