Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers played the Barton Bulldogs tough but ultimately fell by giving up a late goal to make the final score 1-0 at Pepsi Stadium. A tame first half would see the two teams go into halftime scoreless. BC led the half in shots 5-2. Things would pick up in the second half where NGU would lead in shots 9-6. However, Barton would be the team to get on the scoreboard when a throw was followed by a pass that led to a goal in the 83rd minute. The Trailblazers would post four shots after the goal including two on goal, but Barton would keep North Greenville off the scoreboard to preserve the win. Both teams finished the match with eleven shots. Four different Trailblazers posted two shots each.

Vinicius Vrkic, Caio Barretta, and Hayes Porsche each posted two shots with one on goal. Hale Ottman also recorded two shots. Goalkeeper Ricardo Marques finished with two saves.

North Greenville will return to action on Wednesday, September 18th against the Tornado of King University at Pepsi Stadium.
