Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers scored early but ultimately drew with the Tornado of King University, ending the evening with a score of 1-1 at Pepsi Stadium. North Greenville dominated the first half in shots 13-3 and entered the goal column when
Renan Macuglia scored with assists by
Lucas Di Pasquale and
Vinicius Silva in the 13th minute. The Trailblazers held on to the lead until the 57th minute when the Tornado scored to even up the score. The second half proved to be more competitive in terms of shots as NGU slightly led 8-6. However, neither team would get another goal as the two teams would end the night with a tied score. The Trailblazers led the night in total shots 21-9 with eight of those shots on goal.
Renan Macuglia scored his first goal of the season and posted a total of two shots.
Vinicius Silva posted seven total shots and also provided an assist.
Lucas Di Pasquale also recorded an assist and took a shot.
North Greenville will take on the Lees-McRae Bobcats on Saturday, September 21st at Pepsi Stadium.
