Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders were able to hang on in the second half to defeat the Southern Wesleyan Warriors with a final score of 77-66 at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU thoroughly dominated the first half, posting a .471 field goal percentage and going into halftime with a 43-21 lead. The Warriors bounced back in the second half to outscore the Crusaders by eleven. However, NGU was still able to end things with a comfortable eleven point lead to secure the victory. For the game, the Crusaders finished with a field goal percentage of .422. Second chance points proved to be a factor as NGU posted 20 while the Warriors managed just 5.
Max Topham led NGU in points, finishing with 12 while also providing 5 rebounds, a block, and a steal.
