Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders put together a 13-6 victory against the Cobras of Coker University on an early afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. NGU led the game with 44 shots and also picked up a total of 24 ground balls. North Greenville completely dominated in faceoffs as both
Seth Broseman and Bennett Marsler went a perfect ten of ten at the faceoff position. The only faceoff loss for the Crusaders was due to a violation. NGU jumped on Coker early, taking a 4-1 lead into the second quarter. The Cobras would outscore the Crusaders 2-1 in the second to make the score 5-3 at halftime. The Crusaders pulled away from there, outscoring Coker 4-0 in the 3rd and 4-3 in the 4th to end things with a seven point victory.
Christian Cechini posted 3 goals and 2 assists.
Yates Miller also scored 3 goals.
Sean Mullineaux recorded 2 goals and 3 assists.
The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, February 24th against the Eagles of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
