The North Greenville Crusaders left Harrogate, Tennessee with a 16-8 victory against the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial University. After LMU scored the opening goal of the game, the Crusaders took over by scoring the next five goals to lead 5-1. Lincoln Memorial would respond with three of the next four goals, but NGU would run away from there, spending the second and third quarters scoring eight straight goals to lead by ten. A 4-1 run by the Railsplitters in the fourth quarter closed the deficit to seven, but the Crusaders would take the final goal to end with an eight goal victory. The win improves NGU's overall record to 2-1 for the young season.
