Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the Lions of Emmanuel College this evening with a final score of 79-60 at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU shot well from three point territory but otherwise struggled from the field to finish with a .346 field goal percentage. After falling behind by double digits in the first half, NGU nearly matched the Lions in points for the second half. However, it would not be enough to close the gap as the Lions would end things with a comfortable lead. Emmanuel was able to limit turnovers, committing just five throughout the night resulting in just two points off turnovers for NGU.Â
CaDarrius Sowell put together a solid performance, finishing with 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.
