North Greenville Dominant Offensively in Win Over Belmont Abbey

The North Greenville Trailblazers put together a nineteen point victory over the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College with a final score of 79-73 in Belmont, North Carolina. NGU led the first half to go into halftime with a five point lead. They would open that up even further by outscoring the Crusaders 42-31 in the second half to easily secure the victory. North Greenville finished the day with an impressive .518 field goal percentage and shot even better from the three point line, where they posted a .609 percentage. Points off turnovers benefited North Greenville as they were able to double Belmont Abbey in points off turnovers with a total of fourteen. With the win, North Greenville improved their record to 4-6 overall with a 2-1 record in conference play.

Michael Wilson, Jr. proved to be dominant, finishing the day close to a double-double with twenty-eight points, eight rebounds, four assists, and a block. Savion Brown also impressed with twenty-two points, four steals, a rebound, an assist, and a block. Kael Rillie recorded twelve points, six rebounds, and two assists.

NGU will face the Tornado of King University on Saturday, December 14th at Hayes Gymnasium.
