A high-scoring evening in Mount Olive, North Carolina as the North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Mount Olive Trojans with a final score of 95-91. NGU put together a good night from the field, finishing with a .440 field goal percentage. However, the Mount Olive offense proved difficult to stop, posting a .557 percentage from the field. NGU was able to take advantage of twenty-three offensive rebounds, leading to twenty-seven second chance points. Mount Olive, however, led the way in fast break points 36-11 as well as points off turnovers 24-21.
Jacob Brown posted a double-double with fifteen points and eighteen rebounds while also finishing with two steals and an assist.
Savion Brown posted an impressive twenty-eight points in addition to seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Michael Wilson, Jr. was also solid for the night, recording twenty-four points, six rebounds, two steals, a block, and an assist.
North Greenville will face the Belmont Abbey Crusaders on Saturday, December 7th in Belmont, North Carolina.
