School Records Fall in Win over Erskine on Homecoming

Tigerville – North Greenville set or tied three programs records on Saturday afternnon in a 52 – 35 route of Erskine on homecoming in Younts Stadium. 
 
The duo of Dylan Ramirez and Dre' Williams teamed up for four of North Greenville's touchdowns on Saturday. Ramirez also found Tyshon Mansell for a pair of scores including the first touchdown of the game, a 49 – yard touchdown pass. Later in the game Dre Williams would take a pass 70 – yards for a score, his longest touchdown reception of the season. 
 
North Greenville scored two touchdowns in each quarter of Saturday's conference tilt with the Fleet. Also getting in on the scoring was Jacob Walker who led all rushers in yards and touchdowns finding paydirt twice Saturday including 44 – yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter to drive in the final nail. 
 
The trailblazers were dominant on the defensive side of the ball as well, tying the program record for sacks in a single game with nine. De'Iveon Donald led the charge with two sacks to go along with eight total tackles. NGU defenders also forced two turnovers. John Porter III punched out a fumble that was recovered by Brannon Teamer while Warren Coneway picked off an Erskine pass.
 
NGU defenders held the Fleet to 289 – yards of total offense, allowing just 53 – yards on the ground. 
 
Dylan Ramirez finished with 351 – yards passing. He is now the program record holder for touchdowns in a game with six. Dre' Williams eight catches for 208 yards and four touchdowns. Williams is now the record holder for receiving touchdowns in a game. Jacob Walker finished with 119 – yards on the ground to go along with two touchdowns. NGU had 550 – yards of total offense.
