The North Greenville Trailblazers were victorious this evening in Belmont, North Carolina with a 3-0 sweep of the Belmont Abbey Crusaders. NGU posted an impressive attack percentage of .273 for the match while leading the way in kills, service aces, assists, and digs while the two teams tied each other in total blocks. The Trailblazers began things on a high note, scoring seven of the first nine points in set one. Belmont Abbey would put together a run of their own to even things up. Several momentum swings kept the set even, but NGU would post five of the final seven points to take a 25-22 set win. Set two began with a 4-4 tie, but from there North Greenville would take over as Belmont Abbey would score just ten more points while NGU would easily take the set with a score of 25-14. BAC led set three early on, but NGU would once again handle the remainder of the set, winning 25-14 for the second straight set. 

Samantha Ball posted nine kills along with seven digs and an assist. Peyton Taylor recorded seven kills and eight digs. Nicole Santiago finished her night with seven kills, an assist, and a dig,

The Trailblazers will face the Flying Fleet of Erskine College tomorrow at Hayes Gymnasium.
