The North Greenville Trailblazers were unable to score the tying goal against the Tornado of King University this evening in Bristol, Tennessee. King was able to get on the board early, scoring in the 10th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Shots were at a premium throughout the first half for both teams as NGU posted just two for the half while King recorded three. However, both teams would ramp up the attack in the second half. North Greenville was able to record six shots while King put up seven, but North Greenville was ultimately unable to find the back of the net as King would hang on for the victory. NGU dominated the afternoon in corner kicks 8-2 but trailed overall in shots 10-8.
Jasper Clapp posted four shots with one on goal.
Bhassakon Songvejkasem recorded two shots with one on goal.
Ricardo Marques provided three saves at goalkeeper.
NGU will face the Valkyries of Converse University on Saturday, October 19th in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
