The North Greenville Crusaders continue to roll in conference play, defeating the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive with a final score of 8-4 in Mount Olive, North Carolina. NGU took control early by scoring the first four goals of the game less than five minutes in. UMO was able to get on the board with 4:42 remaining in the first, but the Crusaders would score the final goal to take a 5-1 lead into the second quarter. Scoring would nearly come to a halt in the second quarter, with the only goal being by Mount Olive with less than two minutes remaining in the half. However, NGU would still take a three goal lead into halftime. Each team would put one goal on the board in the third quarter with the Crusaders would hang on to a three goal lead going into the fourth quarter. Three goals would be scored within the first five minutes in the fourth quarter, with two of them belonging to North Greenville. Defense would handle the remainder of the game as the Crusaders would take the four point victory.
