The North Greenville Crusaders began the 2023 season on a strong note, leaving Young Harris, Georgia with a 19-10 victory over the Lions of Young Harris College earlier this afternoon. NGU was able to get the offense going, posting 48 total shots, 37 of which were on goal. The Crusaders also led the way in clears and narrowly led in ground balls with a total of 29. After finishing the opening quarter with a 3-1 lead, NGU dominated the second and third quarters to take a 18-5 lead into the fourth. With the game on ice, Young Harris would put up a fight to score five of the six goals in the fourth quarter, but ultimately NGU would come away with a nine goal win.
