Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne University earlier this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium with a final score of 17-6. NGU would get off to a slow start in the opening quarter as the Bears would jump out to a 4-0 lead. LR would then score the first three goals of the second quarter to take a 7-0 lead before the Crusaders would get on the board by way of an unassisted goal by Thomas Cecere. The Bears would score three of the final four goals of the first half to take a 10-2 lead into halftime. After Lenoir-Rhyne scored the first three goals of the third quarter, the Crusaders would respond with three straight goals of their own including goals by Thomas Cecere and Cam Webb. However, the Bears would finish off the game with four of the final five goals to win by eleven.
