Greenwood, S.C. – North Greenville dropped a non-conference game to Lander University on Saturday, falling 9 – 7 to the bearcats.
North Greenville fired of 16 – shots on goal while the Bearcats finished with 27 on frame. The Crusaders scored three first half goals and trailed 6 – 3 at intermission. NGU later trailed by four but scored four – straight to cut the deficit to 8 – 4 with 12:46 left in the game but went scoreless the final 12 – minutes. Lander added one more goal with just over six miutes lef.
