The North Greenville Crusaders put together a ferocious comeback in the second half, coming back from a seven-goal deficit to defeat the Cobras of Coker University with a final score of 13-12 in Hartsville, South Carolina. Coker score seven of the opening eight goals to lead 8-1 with 1:23 remaining in the second quarter. NGU would take some momentum into halftime with the final two goals of the half. NGU scored the opening goal in the third quarter, but the Cobras would take the momentum back by scoring three of the next four goals to extend the lead back to six. However, the Crusaders would then completely take over the game by scoring eight of the final nine goals with Thomas Cecere scoring five of them. The game would ultimately go into overtime, where the Crusaders scored the winning goal. Thomas Cecere tied a program record, scoring seven goals.
