Florence, S.C. – North Greenville grabbed the lead in the first half and never looked back on Saturday en route to an 88 – 73 win over Francis Marion and a seasn sweep of the Patriots.
The Crusaders grabbed the lead in the first half on a John Haddock Rodgers lay-up and never lost it, leading by as many as sixteen points in the first half. The Patriots trimmed the NGU lead to seven points but the Crusaders scored the next six points to make it a 49 – 39 halftime cushion.
North Greenville kept up the hot shooting in the second half, connecting on four of its nine three-pointers while also dominating in the paint. The Crusaders finished with 11 – three's and a season high 42 – points in the paint led by Haddock Rodgers.
The Crusaders played ahead the entire second half and led by as many as 19 – points. They had an answer for each Patriots run and knocked down big shots down the stretch with three players five players scoring in double-figures.

- John Haddock Rodgers led North Greenville with 19 – points and was 3 – 3 from three-point range.
- Savion Brown had one of his best games as a Crusader with 18 – points, knocking down five threes of his own.
- Seth Hewitt had a season high 15 – points and had eight rebounds.
- Caleb Williams had 13 points to go along with seven rebounds and seven assists.
- David Muncy had a season high 12 points in 32 – minutes.
