Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders started off conference play with an 85-75 victory over the Erskine Flying Fleet this afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU was able to pull away throughout the first half, going into halftime with a 49-32 lead. Although the Flying Fleet were able to cut into the Crusader lead late in the second half, North Greenville would still hang on for a double digit victory. NGU led the way in points off turnovers as well as second chance points. The two teams would finish near each other in field goal percentages, with the Crusaders posting a slightly better percentage at .469. With the win, North Greenville improved their record to 4-2 overall with a 1-0 record to begin conference play.
Babatunde Ajike finished an impressive afternoon with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and a block.

North Greenville will face the Lions of Emmanuel University on Saturday, December 9th in Franklin Springs, Georgia.
