Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders and Lees-McRae Bobcats ended the night tied for 2nd place in the Conference Carolinas standings after ending in a draw this evening at Pepsi Stadium with a final score of 1-1. Just eleven minutes into the match, the Bobcats would get on the board after a corner kick led to a header for a goal. It wouldn't take NGU long to respond as just three minutes later
Nico Ferraro would come through with an unexpected goal outside of the box to draw even. From there, things would slow down as NGU would post a total of just six shots while the Bobcats recorded five. The two teams would get several key opportunites to grab the lead, but would ultimately come up empty as time would run out to end the match in a draw. In the meantime, the two teams lost their share of the lead in the standings as Converse University improved to 3-0, giving them the lead.
