Tigerville, SC - North Greenville improved their overall record to 4-2-1 with a 2-0-1 record in conference play by defeating the Hawks of Chowan University with a final score of 2-0 this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. After the Crusaders ended the first half with just one shot, NGU would turn up the offense in the second half, posting a total of six shots in the half including two goals. Chowan would lead the shot column with eleven, but three shots on goal were all saved by
Michel Weber, who recorded his fourth win of the season. With the victory, NGU currently holds the lead in the Conference Carolinas standings.
