Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders were unable to recover from a 7-1 deficit in the 1st quarter, resulting in an 18-11 loss to the University of Mount Olive Trojans this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium in Tigerville, South Carolina. NGU was able to get the offense going with five goals in the 2nd quarter but were also unable to slow down the high-powered offense of the Trojans, who pulled away further with eight goals to lead 15-6 at halftime. Defense slowed things down in the 3rd quarter as the Crusaders allowed just two goals while Mount Olive kept NGU off the board in the quarter. North Greenville would continue to fight in the 4th to score five goals. The Trojans scored just one goal but would successfully keep the clock moving as time would eventually run out on NGU. Shot counts were nearly even as the Trojans narrowly edged the Crusaders 46-44. Face offs were a different story as the Trojans dominated the category throughout the day.
