North Greenville nearly overcame a seven goal deficit but ultimately fell to the Falcons of the University of Montevallo with a final score of 17-14 this afternoon in Montevallo, Alabama. The Crusaders were outscored in every quarter except the 4th, where they would go into it down seven goals. NGU was able to cut the deficit down to three but would run out of time. North Greenville narrowly led the afternoon in total shots 43-41 while leading by a wide margin in face offs 20-8.

Individual

• Thomas Cecere led the Crusaders with four goals. He also provided a ground ball and led in shots on goal with seven.
• Alex Brooks scored three goals and provided an assist. Kyle Bollman also scored three goals.
• Brady Hope had a solid day at face off, winning eighteen of twenty-three.
