North Greenville was unable to hold onto a double digit lead, falling to the Valkyries of Converse University with a final score of 81-78 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. After the Valkyries led for the majority of the opening ten minutes of the game, the Crusaders took over the game and led by as much as ten in the first half and went on to take an eight point lead into halftime. However, Converse would respond in the second half to take a double digit lead of their own. Both teams would put together several runs throughout the half, but Valkyries would ultimately take a three point victory.
