NGU Scores Six in Win Over Tornado

Tigerville, SC - North Greenville took back second place in the Conference Carolinas standings with a one-sided 6-0 victory over the Tornado of King University on a windy afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. The Crusaders dominated the day, posting nineteen shots while allowing just two. Paul Mues would get NGU on the board early with a goal in just the 6th minute. Renan Macuglia would score the second goal of the first half with an assist by Yessine Bessaies, his second assist of the match. Macuglia would score again in the 63rd minute to start off what would be a very productive eight minutes. Kalvin Semedo would score his third goal of the season less than a minute later, which was followed by two goals by Carlos Navarro about five minutes later. With the win, the Crusaders returned to second place in the Conference Carolinas standings heading into the final weekend of the regular season.
