North Greenville finished off the regular season with a 1-1 draw with the Bulldogs of Barton College this afternoon in Wilson, North Carolina. The Crusaders were the first to get on the board when
Renan Macuglia scored a goal in the 22nd minute. However, that lead would last just over eight minutes as Barton would quickly respond with a goal to even things back up. Barton led the shot column in the second half 9-6, but with neither team able to find the back of the net the Crusaders finished with their third tie of the season. The regular season ends with NGU holding a 6-2-3 record in conference play. North Greenville has clinched the #3 seed going into postseason play with a chance of taking the #2 seed depending on the results of tonight's match between Francis Marion and Erskine.
