NGU fell to the Bulldogs of Barton College with a final score of 3-1 this afternoon in Wilson, North Carolina. The Crusaders took a very early lead with a goal within the first five minutes, but this would go on to become North Greenville's only goal of the game as the Bulldogs would end up scoring three for the victory. Gareth Greene scored the lone goal.

• Just past four minutes into the game, Gareth Greene would put up the first shot of the game, which would result in a very early goal. Greene and Jorge Henao-Chica would add shots before Barton would post their first shot of the game. With just over ten minutes remaining in the half, the Bulldogs would tie things up with a goal. 
• Early on in the 2nd half, the Bulldogs would come through with a goal to take the lead for the first time. Fifteen minutes later, Barton would score an insurance goal to take a 3-1 lead. Keletso Mathathe would get off a shot with six minutes remaining, but a save would put a stop to a potential comeback.
