NGU began the game with a dominating 1st quarter, outscoring LMC 9-2. The remaining three quarter would be much more competitive, but the Crusaders would maintain a comfortable lead throughout the remainder of the game.
Devin Napoli tied a program record with eleven total points. He now shares the record with Jake Foster, who set the record in Banner Elk in 2017.

- Lees-McRae would get on the scoreboard first, but the Crusaders quickly responded with goals by Cam Webb and Luke Davis. The Bobcats tied the game with a goal, but North Greenville would completely dominate the remainder of the quarter, scoring seven in a row including two by both Devin Napoli and Thomas Cecere.
- The Crusaders pulled away even further to begin the 2nd quarter, scoring the first three goals with two by Devin Napoli and one by Thomas Cecere. However, the Bobcats would respond with three straight goals of their own. Napoli would close out the 2nd quarter with a goal to give the Crusaders a 13-5 lead at halftime.
- LMC began the 2nd half with a goal, but NGU would go on to score the next three which were scored by Jacob Thomas, Kyle Bollman, and Corey Long. Lees-McRae scored the final goal of the 3rd to make the score 16-7.
- The Bobcats would start to put a scare into NGU by scoring the first three goals of the 4th quarter.
