Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders scored a 13-10 victory over the nationally-ranked Catawba College Indians at Pepsi Stadium earlier tonight. NGU took the lead for good late in the 1st quarter and never looked back. Face offs were dominated by the Crusaders as
Brady Hope would go 18-25 in face offs.
Thomas Cecere had yet another great game, this time with a five goal performance.

- After over three minutes of zeros on the board, Thomas Cecere would change that with his first goal of the night. He was assisted by Devin Napoli. After the Indians responded with a goal of their own to tie things up, Devin Naploli would then score with an assist by Corey Long. Catawba would score one more goal in the 1st before North Greenville closed out the 1st quarter with two goals, one scored by Devin Napoli and the other by Lucas Yearwood.
- The 2nd quarter would begin with a quick goal by Catawba, but NGU responded with three straight goals, which were scored by Stephen Santini, Alex Brooks, and Landon Spooner. The Indians would close out the half scoring three of the final four goals to make the score 8-6 at the half.
- Quarter number three proved to be dominated by NGU. North Greenville started things off with three straight goals, scored by Devin Napoli, Chris Wieckhorst, and Thomas Cecere to put NGU up 11-6. Catawba would afford one goal in the quarter, but NGU ended things with two more goals to lead 13-7 going into the 4th.
- Catawba would put up a scare by scoring the only three goals of the 4th quarter. However, that would prove to be too little too late as the Crusader defense stepped up to slow down the offensive attack. The Indians would eventually run out of time, allowing the Crusaders to secure the victory.

- Thomas Cecere had a highlight-worthy night, scoring 5 goals and proving an assist.
- Devin Napoli posted 3 goals along with an assist.
- Terry Huffman had a successful season debut at goalkeeper, recording 10 saves and being the winning goalkeeper.
