North Greenville suffered an 11-10 loss to the Bearcats of Lander University in Greenwood, SC. The Crusaders trailed 9-5 in the fourth quarter, but a big momentum swing by the Crusaders pulled them within a single point. However, the Bearcats were able to hang on just long enough to maintain the lead and therefore the victory.

Lucas Yearwood led NGU with two goals each.

Recap
- It would take nearly seven minutes for a team to get on the board, but Lander would be the first to do that with 8:21 left in the opening quarter. NGU would then respond with three straight goals scored by Austin Zumbado, Colin Courtney, and Lucas Yearwood.
- The Bearcats would even things back up with two goals before the Crusaders closed out the scoring in the 1st half with a goal to trail by just one. The last six minutes of the half would go scoreless, making the score 4-3 in favor of NGU at halftime.
- Lander would dominate throughout the 3rd quarter, scoring five of the six goals of the quarter to take an 8-5 lead. North Greenville's lone goal in the quarter came from Corey Long.
- After an early goal by Lander to start the 4th, NGU would come to life, scoring three in a row. Those goals were scored by Owen Ingham, Thomas Cecere, and Lucas Yearwood. Lander would go on to score two of the next three goals, with NGU's coming from Alex Brooks. With the Crusaders running out of time with a two goal deficit, Thomas Cecere would finally break through with an unassisted goal with 25 seconds left in the game. The Crusaders won the faceoff, but would be unable to find the back of the net to tie the game.
