Recap
  • The first goal of the match came rather quickly as Christopher Holscher found the back of the net with an assist by Robbie Jenkinson and Luiz Neto to put the Crusaders on the board in the 5th minute. However, it didn't take long for the Bobcats to even things up as they would score a goal of their own less than five minutes later. LMC would go on to take the lead around fifteen minutes later with a second goal. The Crusaders would lead the half in shots 7-6, but would go into halftime trailing by one.
  • Early on in the second half, North Greenville wound score the equalizer when Luiz Neto scored a goal with an assist by Arthur Leray. The Crusaders also led in shots in the second half 6-4, but with neither team connecting for another goal the two would head to overtime.
  • The two overtime periods proved to be fast-paced as the two teams had no interest in settling for a tie. LMC would lead the two periods in shots 6-3 but after several close attempts by both teams the two would be forced to settle for the draw.
Individual Upcoming
  • The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, October 23rd against the Patriots of Francis Marion Uniersity in Tigerville.
