Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders suffered a 3-0 loss to the Campbellsville Tigers in Hayes Gymnasium. Campbellsville, now 12-2 for the season, had 3 players to hit double digits in kills. For NGU, Cade McGee led with 5 kills.

Campbellsville started the match with the momentum, going on an 8-1 run to begin the opening set. The Crusaders fought back to pull within two, but the Tigers would pull away once again to lead by six. Although NGU stayed within striking distance, they could not put together another run, allowing CU to take a 25-20 set win.

Set two began on an even note. Tied 9-9, Campbellsville would pull away again with an 11-5 run to lead 20-14. NGU would take the next three points, but the Tigers would post the final five points to take set two 25-17.

The third set was a competitive one throughout. North Greenville would stay within two, but with the score 17-15 in favor of CU, Campbellsville would gain the momentum to take the final set by six points with a score of 25-19.

NGU will face the Tornado of King University in Tigerville on Tuesday, February 11th.
