Bret Baker

Bret Baker enters his fourth year as an Assistant Coach with North Greenville University Men’s Soccer in 2019.  Baker came to North Greenville after a stint as an Assistant Coach with Truett McConnel College where he helped lead the team to a 10-6-3 record and a berth in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament. 

Prior to his time at North Greenville, Baker has been a high school director of athletics in Florida and coached with a variety of youth clubs and schools, including GMSA (Georgia Mountain Soccer Association), Rapids FC, White County Middle School, and White County High School.

Along with his role as an Assistant Coach here at North Greenville University, Baker is the Head Men’s Soccer coach at Wade Hampton High School, and coaches club soccer with United FC. Baker holds a NSCAA Level 3 National Diploma.

Baker is a graduate of Bob Jones University and holds a degree in physical education.

He and his family reside in Greenville, South Carolina.
