Josh Milner is entering his 3rd season with the North Greenville University athletic program as the Assistant Athletic Director of External Operations. Milner started his career at NGU as a Graduate Assistant for the Men's Basketball program in the fall of 2010. Coach Milner completed his Master’s degree in Business Administration here at NGU in 2012 and accepted the position as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. He is a 2010 graduate of Clemson University where he earned a BS in Health Science and a minor in Athletic Leadership.
Coach Milner was involved in all aspects of the program including on floor coaching, recruiting, strength and conditioning, player development, scouting and game preparations.
Before joining the NGU staff, he began his coaching career at Clemson University where he worked under Joey Batson in the Strength and Conditioning department. While there he had the opportunity to work with both men’s and women’s basketball, as well as football, baseball, volleyball, golf, and soccer. By joining the staff at North Greenville he returned back to his first love in basketball. A highlight of his coaching career came after joining the NGU staff when the program won their first Conference Carolinas Championship and made their first NCAA regional appearance in the 2014-15 season.
Coach Milner was born in Greenville, South Carolina on July 27, 1988. He graduated from Eastside high school where he was a co-captain of both the basketball and baseball teams. Milner currently resides back in Greenville, South Carolina with his wife Erin and two children, Gehris (3) and Raylee (6 month).
