2018: Played in three games for North Greenville as a true freshman, making two starts...Expected to push for a full-time starting spot in 2019. 

High School: Played at Ben Lippen High School under Justin Gentry. Was a 2017 All-Region performer and played in the 2018 North-South All-Star Game. A 2018 HSSR All-State selection and a 2018 SCISA All-State nod. 

Personal: Born Matthew Johnson on January 7, 2000, to Joseph and Tara Johnson. From Chapin, South Carolina.
