North Greenville University

Ty Young comes to North Greenville from Coastal Carolina where he a defensive graduate assistant working with the OLB's since 2020. Young has been with the Chanteclers since 2016 where he started as an equipment manager for the football program. 
 
Ty Young helped lead a Coastal Carolina defense which was one of the top units in FBS football, ranking 27^thin opponent points per game and 25^th in yards per game. The Chantecler defense was also ranked within the top-40 in five other defensive categories. 
 
Ty Young began his assent into the coaching ranks the following year as he began his work as a student assistant for Jamey Chadwell's staff, working with the team's running backs. He also worked on the offensive side of the ball with the wide receivers as a student assistant in 2017 before moving to the defensive side of the ball as an analyst, focusing on the outside linebackers. 
 
He graduated from Coastal Carolina in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management and earned his Master's in Business Administration this May.
