Myrtle Beach, S.C. - North Greenville's men's track and field team delivered a strong performance in the field events, highlighted by a standout showing from
Taylor Campbell. The Trailblazers finished 7th overall in the team standings.
Campbell earned a first-place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 58.86m, reaching a national provisional standard, and added a second-place finish in the shot put (15.31m) to lead the Trailblazers.
In the throws, Troy Cocco secured a second-place finish in the javelin with a mark of 66.19m, while Christian Kaiser followed with a third-place finish (58.75m). JJ Holt Jr. contributed with a fifth-place finish in the shot put (14.12m) and seventh in the discus (41.32m), adding valuable points for North Greenville.
Elsewhere in the field, Bryce Hamby cleared 4.37m in the pole vault to finish fourth. On the track, Josiah Ashton placed fifth in the 800m with a time of 1:57.31, and Joseph McBride added a seventh-place finish in the 10,000m (33:11.89).
Overall, North Greenville showcased its strength in the throwing events while adding key contributions on the track to round out a solid meet performance.
