Due West, S.C. – North Greenville was tripped up by Erskine in road conference match – up 71 – 66.
The Trailblazers led 51 – 42 heading in to the fourth quarter. NGU held on to the lead until the 3:16 mark of the fourth period when the Fleet took a two point lead. It was their biggest lead of the game since the first quarter. North Greenville tried to battle back in the final minutes of the game when
Julia Edwards knocked down a three ball to make it with 52 – seconds left. The Fleet answered with a field goal and held NGU scoreless in the final 17 – seconds to secure their first conference win.
NGU's bench finished the game with 26 – points led by
Maliyiah Mason who had 16 – points to lead all NGU scorers. She led North Greenville with nine – rebounds.
Austin Johnson had 14 – points while
Janyia Williams had 12.
