Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers completed a 3-0 sweep of the Wolves of Newberry College in the home opener of the 2026 season at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU managed the lead throughout sets one and two before thoroughly dominating the third and final set. Service aces heavily favored the Trailblazers, who led the category 9-1, although North Greenville did struggle with the serve at times with nineteen service errors. North Greenville nearly doubled Newberry in kills 40-24 and also led in points, blocks, assists, and digs. For the match, the Trailblazers posted a .346 attack percentage.
