Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers put together a 3-1 victory over the Lions of Emmanuel University this evening at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU controlled the opening set, winning it 25-20 but fell in set two 25-22. However, the Trailblazers would dominate the remainder of the night, running away with a 25-12 set three win and a 25-19 set four win. For the match, North Greenville posted a .172 hit percentage and dominated the night in blocks 8-2 while also leading in points, kills, service aces, assists, and digs. The win improves NGU's record to 2-1 with a 1-0 record in conference play.
Yoriano Velez Vega finished a big night with 13 kills, 4 digs, 2 service aces, 2 block assists, a solo block, and an assist.
Landon Richter posted 12 kills, 2 digs, 2 solo blocks, 2 block assists, and a service ace.
