The North Greenville Trailblazers made program history tonight in Due West, South Carolina with a 3-2 win over the Flying Fleet of Erskine College. After falling in the opening set 27-25, NGU bounced back to take set two 25-21. The Flying Fleet reclaimed the lead in set three to win it 25-20. However, the Trailblazers dominated set four with a score of 25-17 to force a fifth set. NGU would run away with the set, ending things with a 6-1 run to take the set 15-8. NGU finished the night with a .201 hit percentage. North Greenville dominated in total blocks 23-6, with
Landon Richter setting a program record. The Trailblazers also led in points, kills, assists, and digs while only trailing in service aces.

Yoriano Velez Vega stood out with 21 kills, 8 digs, 6 block assists, and a solo block.
Andrew Copp provided 46 assists, 9 digs, 6 block assists, a solo block, and 2 service aces.
NGU will return to action on Tuesday, February 17th against the Tornado of King University in Bristol, Tennessee.
