The North Greenville Trailblazers posted a 76-67 victory over the Converse Valkyries in Spartanburg, South Carolina. North Greenville led both halves and finished with a .455 field goal percentage. A low-scoring 1st half resulted in a 28-22 score in favor of the Trailblazers at halftime. Things improved for both teams in the 2nd half as they would both score 45 or more points. Converse would score a three pointer in the final seconds to pull back within single digits, but NGU would easily hang on for a nine point victory. North Greenville struggled from three point range, shooting just .167. However, they did lead Converse in points in the paint 40-24.

Carter Bobbitt posted a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds in addition to 2 blocks. Jacob Brown recorded 20 points and 10 points for his double-double as well as an assist. Logan Parker rounded out the double-doubles with 10 points and 10 rebounds as well as 3 assists and a steal.

North Greenville will face the Mountain Lions of Young Harris College on Monday, February 2nd at Hayes Gymnasium.
