TIGERVILLE, S.C. – North Greenville University has announced Jarvis Robinson as the new head coach of the Cross Country and Track & Field programs. Robinson had served as the program's assistant coach since October of 2024. He has also announced the hiring of Casey Burr as the program's new assistant coach.

Robinson joined North Greenville for his first collegiate coaching role in October of 2024. Prior to NGU, Robinson built an impressive coaching résumé at the high school level, working with athletes across multiple sports and ability levels while earning numerous Outstanding Coach awards. He played an integral role in South Carolina State Championships for the Greenville High School boys track and field team in 2021 and 2023 as the assistant coach for sprints and relays. Robinson also helped guide the girls track and field team to a state runner-up finish in 2021, followed by a State Championship the next season.

During his tenure at Greenville High School, Robinson mentored several event state champions, including a three-time champion girls 4x100-meter relay team and a 4x400-meter relay state runner-up squad. He also coached individual state champions in the 100-meter and 400-meter events, along with three state runners-up in the 100-meter and 200-meter races.

In his first season with the Trailblazers, Robinson guided the women's track and field team to a second-place finish at the Conference Carolinas Championships in the spring of 2025, marking the best finish in program history. Robinson is USA Track & Field Level 1 certified and is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. He is a graduate of Southside High School and spent 10 years as the sprints and relays coach at Greenville High School.

Robinson's wife, Brittany, is a 2008 graduate of North Greenville University and was a member of Joyful Sound. The couple has three daughters—Bre'Asia, Braelyn, and Brooklyn. Bre'Asia is currently enrolled at NGU and competes as a sprinter on the Track & Field team.
