From Head Coach Cameron Stober:

"I'm really proud of both teams. Our men's team has consisted of eight guys this season and we only had seven race today. Despite only having seven guys race today, we still managed to finish two places higher as a team than we did at last year's conference championship, and just five points outside of fifth place.That says a lot about these guys. Though I am proud of how we did as a team today, I'm more proud of what these guys have done from a team culture standpoint. These guys have come together and bonded throughout the course of the season, and I feel like they are laying a foundation for future teams. I'm grateful for these guy's commitment and perseverance.

I'm thankful for all that have contributed to our team's success. First and foremost, I'm grateful to God for his blessing and provision. Secondly, I'm thankful for these athletes. They are a blessing from the Lord. They work hard, are great young people, and they represent this team and our university with class.Thirdly, I'm grateful for all of those that do so much behind the scenes. Our graduate assistant, Kylie Futrell has done so much for this program and I'm so thankful for all of her contributions to this program…both as an athlete and as a coach. Lydia Binder, our athletic trainer, who works so well with our athletes when they are battling injury. And all of the supporters of our program…family and friends that travel to our meets to support our team. This is a special program because of the people that it consists of. I'm blessed and grateful to be a part of it."

Next the Trailblazers will compete at the NCAA Southeast Regional Cross Country Championship on November 8th at Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina.
