The North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Eagles of Carson-Newman University as well as the Pacers of USC Aiken, both with a final score of 3-1 in Aiken, South Carolina. North Greenville took the opening set against Carson-Newman with a score of 25-22, but fell in the final three sets with scores of 25-17, 25-14, and 25-17. NGU finished with an attack percentage of .199. The Trailblazers quickly returned to action against the Pacers. After dropping the opening set 25-18, NGU bounced back with a 25-22 set win. However, USC Aiken would dominate the final two sets, winning them both 25-14. North Greenville struggled overall on the attack, finishing at just .078 for the match including negative percentage in the third and fourth set.

Samantha Ball finished the day with 18 kills and 28 digs, Anna Fiddelke posted 16 kills, 4 block assists, a solo block, and a service ace. Peyton Taylor recorded 15 kills, 19 digs, and a block assist.

NGU will return to action on Tuesday, September 16th against the Valkyries of Converse University in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
