Greenville - In a vote by league coaches, North Greenville finished in a tie with UNC Pembroke to finish first in the Conference Carolinas this season as the league prepares for the first season of conference sponsored football since 1974. 

North Greenville and Pembroke finished with 32 total votes. The Trailblazers received three first place votes while the Braves received four. 

Shorter University was picked third with 26 points while Barton College came in fourth with 22 points. Chowan University followed with 18 points while Erskine College and Ferrum College rounded out the poll with 11 and six points, respectively.

North Greenville will open conference play on September 13th at home against Barton.
