The North Greenville Trailblazers advanced to the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship with a 20-12 win over the Bulldogs of Barton College. Momentum swings told the story of the first half as after Barton scored the opening goal, NGU responded by scoring three of the next four. BC would take the next two goals to begin the 2nd quarter, but the Trailblazers would take over by scoring four consecutive goals. The Bulldogs scored three of the final goals as North Greenville would take a narrow 8-7 lead into halftime. Barton tied things up with the opening goal of the 3rd quarter, but NGU would respond by scoring four goals in a row to take a 12-8 lead. After two of the next three goals by the Bulldogs to close out the 3rd quarter, North Greenville took over the momentum once again, scoring the first six goals of the 4th quarter to lead by as much as nine. Barton would score two in a row late, but NGU would close out the game with the final goal to send NGU to the Conference Carolinas Tournament championship.
Hyaden Moffat led NGU in total points, posting three goals and two assists in addition to three ground balls.
Yates Miller also scored three goals and recorded a ground ball.
Nick Meier finished with two goals, an assist, and two draw controls.
NGU will face the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College in the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship in Mount Olive, North Carolina.
